Blossom Psychology is a psychology practice located at Suite #255, 999 - 8 St SW, Calgary, Alberta. Our psychologists are Registered Psychologists regulated by the College of Alberta Psychologists. This policy describes how personal information is handled on this website, in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information We Collect Through This Website
- Contact and consultation forms: when you submit a form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and message. Forms are processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, and delivered to us by email.
- Advertising and analytics cookies: we use Google tags to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (for example, to know that a form was submitted after clicking an ad). These tools may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use this site.
We do not sell personal information, and we never share the contents of your messages with third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through this website is used only to respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, and communicate with you about our services. Online booking is handled by Jane, a Canadian practice-management platform, on its own website. Information you enter there is governed by Jane's privacy policy as well as our clinical privacy practices.
Clinical Records
Clinical information gathered during assessments (intake information, test data, and reports) is not collected through this website. It is maintained securely and confidentially in accordance with the standards of the College of Alberta Psychologists and applicable privacy legislation. Details about how your clinical records are stored, retained, and disclosed are reviewed with you as part of the informed-consent process at intake, and are available on request.
Email Communication
Please note that standard email is not a fully secure medium. Avoid including detailed health information in website forms or email. Those details are best discussed by phone or during your appointment.
Your Rights & Questions
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to further contact at any time.
