Our Assessment Process
Intake Meeting
Parent(s)/guardian(s) meet with the psychologist for a one-hour intake meeting to discuss referral reasons, developmental history, and background information.
Direct Testing
Testing occurs across 1-3 sessions totaling 3-4 hours. The psychologist works directly with the individual using standardized assessment tools.
Report Preparation
Following data collection, a comprehensive report is prepared with clinical findings, diagnostic impressions, and detailed recommendations.
Feedback Session
The process concludes with a one-hour feedback session reviewing results, discussing implications, and answering questions.

| Psycho-educational or Psychological Assessment Cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioural, and specific skill areas as needed (e.g., executive functioning, language, visual-motor, sensory processing) | $3,250 |
| Comprehensive Assessment Learning profile, attention/executive functioning, mental health - cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioural, and specific skill areas as needed | $3,750 |
| Autism with Comprehensive Assessment Comprehensive assessment plus ADOS-2 & ADI-R (gold standard tools in ASD assessments) | $4,500 |
| Autism without Educational Testing Cognitive, social-emotional, behavioural, adapted ADOS-2 & ADI-R, and specific skill areas as needed | $3,750 |
Additional Services
For additional services, such as parent coaching or tailored assessment, Blossom Psychology aligns with the recommended fee rate provided by the Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA) of $250 per hour.
